Cheers rang out for the G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport after the College teams emerged victorious in the 2015-2016 Intercol Basketball and Knockout Football Games played on October 15. In the knockout football game which started at 3:00 pm against Church Teachers’ College at G.C. Foster College, the team from G.C. Foster College got their first goal in the 34th minute from Ramon Bryan with a long range kick that landed in the back of the net. The second goal came in the 88th minute from Daryn James who cleverly outsmarted the goalkeeper and sealed the deal to give G.C. Foster College the victory 2-0. The next game will be the semi-final game to be played on Thursday October 22, 2015; the venue and opponent are yet to be decided. In the basketball game later in the evening, the Fostodians out-played Northern Caribbean University (NCU), winning 77-41. In the game played on Tuesday October 13, 2015 against Knox Community College at G.C. Foster College, The G.C. Foster Lions outscored Knox, winning 68-30. Their third game will be against UWI on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at G.C. Foster College, starting 6:00 pm.
